Our trip away for the weekend

Today i had to work for the morning but then Kimmy and Tilly met me from work and we took the National Express from Canterbury to London (much cheaper option than the train ). We werent on it long before the bus did its magic and Tills was fast asleep :)

rather than do all the normal things we do in london, like the Eye and London Dungeons etc, we decided to take Tilly to the Natural History Museum  to see the Dinosaurs.

I was queuing up on the tube to buy Tickets for me and Kimmy and a lady from Sweden offered me her Oyster travel card with 3 days London travel on it. So all i needed was to buy a one day travel card for me. With the Train system in uk, you really have to work the system. i wanted to take the train today to langley ( where our hotel is) but it was going to cost me  £51.60, so instead we took National Express to London Victoria costing £13.00, free oyster card for kim and £7.10 for a travel card for me, this gets us travel round london and to the london border/zone 6. then i only had to pay £2.65 for a ticket from the zone 6 to Langley. £22.75 - less than half the price of booking the whole journey in one go! makes you realise how much profit these people make.

We arrived at the hotel at about 830pm and it was lovely to see Mike, Sam and the kids :) the Hotel was very welcoming once you get inside and the rooms were bigger than my little house lol. The Decor was very dated, but the people that owned the hotel couldnt of been more helpful. there was even a full size fridge in our room, which was handy as we have loads of picnic food ready for Legoland xx
