Treat your face to a make up free day

With my job, i have to wear make up as part of Selling fine fragrance over the counter, so i stick to the same make up and colours in my handbag and then  i know its in there everyday for work. Although i love wearing makeup, it adds colour to your face and you can disguise many unwanted features but its not actually good for your skin to wear loads of make up every day. I use a BB cream or a tinted moisturiser as it leaves my skin feeling softer and lighter than a foundation and also gives my skin a boost when i do wear make up.

Here are some reasons that its a fab idea to give your skin a make up free day

One of the prime causes of break outs is blocked pores. We all know that we remove our make up overnight to give our skin a fresh start for the next day and so it can recover from the day, so men and women alike should get into the habit of washing away all the day’s toxins at night.what ever your job or reason for wearing make up, your skin will always need a break. Skin cant breathe properley when your wearing make up, with a few days with out make up, you will see a marked improvement in your skin.

It can be a cause for premature ageing on your face. Make up (no matter how brilliant the brand is) contains free radicals and the higher levels of free radicals on your skin means the collagen suffers and damage is caused.

Think of the time you spend putting on make up, taking it off, cleansing, toning and moisturising ....... its all precious time out of your day. go make up free for a day and see the extra time you have to do other things. it could be an extra half hour in your day (an extra half hour sleeping time)

Be comfortable with who you are, go make up free to show the world who you really are and what you really look like under the make up, Be nude in your face and show the genuine you! Beauty really is skin deep and some people look so much prettier as their natural self.

So going a few days without make up will make your skin and yourself feel so much better :)
