Disneyland 2014

So we returned from out holiday on sunday night and it has taken me a whole day to get over the 5 full on days in the park. it was worth every moment we were there. Although we queued for 50 minutes to get on the rides, and the ride then lasted about 30 seconds, it was all worth it. The park opened from 8AM for the people that stayed in the hotel and was open untill 8PM at night.

On the first day we arrived by eurostar and Less than 2 hours after leaving Ashford we were at the gates to Disney, i still dont think Tilly realised what was about to happen untill we got inside the park.

It was 2pm and the park was in full swing. we headed to the pinochio ride as we knew we would have to go to fantasyland first and do all the little disneyland things. We also went to Alice in Wonderland maze and Tilly loved the reality of all her Disney fantasies. She loved being a princess in the park. We stayed untill about 7pm and then went to check in to the hotel and claim our luggage, then we had dinner in the hotel restaurant. Buying the pre-paid meal vouchers was the best idea as it meant that i didnt have to pay for meals out of our holiday money.

The next day we were up and at breakfast for 7AM to enable us to be in the park for 8AM. This meant we had early rider chances and went on most of the rides in Fantasyland and worked our way around the park. We sneaked Tilly onto the Star Tours ride even though she was still a bit too small, it is a simulator that goes into space, and Tilly actually believes we went up to space. We also explored the Walt Disney Studios, i actually enjoyed this park more than the bigger park. We went to watch Disney junior live on stage and an interactive Stitch show - both were a big hit, especially as she met jake from jake and the never land pirates and Princess sophia.

The following day we went into Paris to show Tilly some of the sights, this is all available on another blog post

On the saturday, the park was open from 8am untill 10pm, and then we watched the lights parade and actually got back to our hotel after 11pm! kimmy had gone off and done a few big rides whilst i did some
smaller ones and watched the parade with tilly. We managed to finish off in the park today and it had taken 3 days in the park to go on every ride about once!

So on the sunday before we went home, we enjoyed going on rides for another go and even managed to sneak tilly on to star tours again.
At 12pm we had to go for Tillys birthday surprise and we went into cinderellas castle and had lunch with the princesses. We had a three course meal and each princess came to chat to Tilly, Cinderella even bought tilly her cake and sang happy birthday to her.

Then at 4pm we had to leave to claim our luggage and get back on the eurostar for our trip home. Miss tilly was so tired and slept untill we were nearly home.

This trip cost me and kimmy £1200 but was worth every penny we spent as every day was 'the best day EVER!'
