Carpet cleaning products from Rug Doctor are not just for carpets

Rug Doctor’s Oxy Power Stain Remover and Spot & Stain Remover have been named as two of only three, Best Buy carpet stain removers in the respected Which? Report.

To make it into the Best Buy category, the products had to be tested against a host of criteria and offer class-leading capabilities which included removing both dried in and fresh stains such as mud, tea and red wine. Analysis is so thorough that only the very best products make it into the coveted list and earn the right to display the Which? Best Buy icon on their packaging.

Tilly got a promo top when she came with me to the Rug Doctor Blogging Event, and the lunch of the day was a lush tomato pasta meal, one of Tillys favourite meals, but i dont think her t-shirt actually agreed, so when we got home I thought i would try a spray on it and it worked really well and after i sprayed it, i left it for a couple of minutes before popping it in the washing machine. the stains lifted and she was able to wear the top on monday for school

Rug Doctor’s Oxy Power Stain Remover and Spot & Stain Remover trigger sprays, were praised by the publication for lifting tough stains like Ribena and banishing unwanted red wine and chocolate spread marks.

Paul Fildes, marketing manager at Rug Doctor, said: “We are delighted that not one, but two of our cleaning products, have been voted Best Buy carpet stain removers by Which? beating brands like Vanish, 1001, Bissell and Dyson. With such a competitive playing field, it makes us extremely proud that our hard work and innovation has ensured we are one of the best. The publication is well known for its impartial consumer advice, so it is great that our products have been recognised by an independent body in this way.

“Rug Doctor has established a reputation over many years as being the Carpet Care Experts and our stain removers are the perfect choice for householders who want to remove tough, unsightly stains and blemishes on their carpets.”

To compile the definitive list, Which? tested 17 carpet stain removers from a selection of leading manufacturers.

Launched in 1957, Which? now tests around 2,500 products a year - from child seats to digital cameras and washing machines to mobile phones. It campaigns to get a fairer deal for all consumers and publishes expert, unbiased information to help consumers make the right choice, whatever they’re buying. Which? is entirely independent.
