Cow and Gate Growing Up Milk And The Importance Of Vitamin D

All of my kids were Cow and Gate babies, And that is a history of over 22 years! So thats why I feel so comfortable about writing this post. Ok so I don't have a baby who drinks formula milk, as Tilly is 4, but she drank Cow and Gate until she was over 2 years old.

Kids these days don't get enough Vitamin D in their body, in fact only 27% of children get their daily dietary allowance of Vitamin D. Vitamin D is very important for your little ones because is can help to prevent many other health problems like immune disorders, muscle weakness and Allergies. It is also important for your childs growth and bone development.

So how do we get more Vitamin D into our children?

As well as giving your child Cow and Gate growing up milk until they are slightly older, you can give them vitamin D by introducing eggs, Fatty fish, Tinned tuna fish, fortified cereals, some fruit juices. Sunshine is also a great source of vitamin D, but in the winter months its hard to find some sunshine. The government also recommends Vitamins for children under 5 years old.

Cow and Gate Growing up milk is a great way of getting Vitamin D into your little one, with only 2 beakers giving your child his daily allowance of vitamin D and helping his bones to grow strong.

Cow and Gate Growing up milk is perfect for toddlers aged 1-3 years old. Stage 3 is aimed at toddlers aged 1-2 and stage 4 is aimed at toddlers 2-3. It comes in 900g tubs that you make up with boiled water or handy ready made cartons, ideal for days out.
