SodaStream Caps Creating Perfect Fizz In Seconds

The festive season is all about eating, drinking and being merry and SodaStream have bought us The Happy Hour Variety pack. You can now make your own perfect alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails at the touch of a button. They are easy to use and you make your carbonated water in the same way as you would normally. then you place the soda cap on top of your bottle of ice cold carbonated water, press down lightly and the syrup is released into the water and you have created a freshly fizzed cocktail in seconds. As it makes a litre you can pour some into a glass and there you have your mocktail or you can add your spirit and add it to the cocktail to your taste.

The Happy Hour caps come in a variety of 8 flavours including
  • Cosmopolitan
  • Mojito
  • Pina Colada
  • Vodka Mango
  • Gin and Cucumber
  • Gin and Pink Grapefruit
  • Peach Bellini
Making drinks with the SodaStream means you are being environmentally friendly too because each time you use the reusable plastic bottle it means your not buying a litre bottle of drink from the supermarket and your not then throwing that plastic bottle in the bin, creating an environmental nightmare for the world. But also, just think how much rubbish we have at Christmas, our bins overflow and by using the SodaStream and its reusable bottle, you are ensuring your bins stay empty for longer.

We chose to make Gin and Pink Grapefruit and it was so easy to do, you pop your water into the SodaStream and add the fizz, then you take the SodaStream cap of your choice, pop it on the top of the bottle and it trickles down the bottle, once the cap is empty, you simply pop the lid on the bottle and gently shake, this mixes the fizzy water to the syrup. Then if you wish you add the Gin to give you the perfect cocktail.

SodaStream Limited Edition Happy Hour Soda Caps are £7.99 for the selection of 8 caps and are available at Argos and Amazon and you can buy all your Sodastream products online at
