The Baby Show At Excel 20-22 February 2015

We were quite often visitors to the baby show when Tilly was a baby and often my older kids would want to come along too, just to see what they could spoil their sister with! So when Beth got pregnant, the first thing that her and Nathan asked was whether they could go to the baby show with me. We have been Lucky enough to have been given some tickets and we shall be making our way to Excel on Feb 21st with many new mums and mums to be.

The Baby Show is now in its 13th year, will be showcasing more baby and infant essentials, alongside innovative, exciting and not-on-the high street brands than ever before and expert speakers will be on hand to give mums and dads advice including nutritionist and author, Annabel Karmel MBE, breast-feeding guru, Clare Byam-Cook and sleep expert Jo Tantum.

The Baby Show first launched in 2002 and is held 3 times a year at the ExCeL London (February), the NEC in Birmingham (May) and Kensington Olympia (October), We usually attend the London Shows as they are closer to us. The best bit for me as a parent and for my child is that Fisher Price offer a creche so you can go and look around without having to fight through crowds with a buggy or dragging an unhappy bored toddler with you. You normally get to leave your child for about an hour and they are all CRB checked. Lets face it, our children would rather be in a creche full of toys than following mummy and daddy around.

The baby Show is in London Excel from 20th to 22nd February 2015. The advanced ticket price is £13.95 on Friday (it is £14.95 for either the Saturday or Sunday) while on-the-door tickets cost £20. For more information visit

When we have attended The Baby Show in the past, we have got loads of advice from professionals and met the lovely Annabel Karmel. We have been able to get up close and personal with the companies and seen what baby products there are to offer. There is a baby feeding area where you can sit and relax whilst feeding your little cherubs. The baby show is easy to get to on the DLR and there are signs posts as soon as you get off the tube, with people directing you the right way.

So if your expecting a little one or you have a baby or toddler, pop along for a fab afternoon of advice and fun,
