Arla Big Milk For Little Kids Review And Competition

A couple of weeks ago I wrote a post about Tilly and the trouble I had trying to get her to eat breakfast. Last weekend at Blogfest (a blogging conference) I was lucky enough to meet with the people from Arla, who had a nutritionist with them and she told me that as long as Tilly eats a few bites of an apple in the morning then she is eating something.

Arla are the guys that bring us Cravendale, and its our favourite milk, not only does it last for ages in the fridge with its long date but because it is filtered it tastes so much better too. Arla Big Milk is designed for children between 1 and 5 years old and is enriched with vitamins A and D as well as Calcium and Iron.

The milk is whole milk and is packed with all the goodness your child needs, so if they are picky eaters or they don't get as much vitamins as they should do, then this is perfect for them. Vitamin D is important for bone growth whilst Calcium will help the children the children's bones grow stronger. Vitamin A is important for your child's normal growth and development - helping to keep the eyes, skin and immune system healthy. Whilst the iron helps their body to pump oxygen to their cells and contributes to normal cognitive development. If you suffer a lack of iron, you will end up tired and weary.

I know what its like to have a fussy child so how can we get our kids to drink milk?
  • By the glass
  • With cereal for breakfast
  • Adding it to a dessert after dinner
  • Use it in cooking
  • Add it to smoothies
Big Milk can be found in the milk aisle of the supermarket near the Cravendale milk. It costs around £2.25 for 4 pints and usually has about 3 weeks on the date (in my own experience).

Have you tried Big Milk? even I have drunk it and it tastes just like normal milk, you would never know it had the extra vitamins and minerals in there. I have some vouchers that I picked up at Blogfest to offer to a winner and all you need to do is tweet this phrase
