New Shades From GOSH Copenhagen

I asked Michelle at to try out a new Spring/Summer pallette from GOSH Copenhagen. The shade was Cool With Copenhagen and is a pallette of natural matt shades.

Now, I am not one to usually wear makeup, even at my own wedding I had a minimal amount on, but I am often interested in learning how to apply it and actually benefit from the occasional application when attending social gatherings. I have the good fortune to be able to try out a new palette by the Gosh brand, with some very attractive colours in the selection.

There are 9 matt shades with a smoky theme in this palette and having heard good things about the brand, I was keen to give it a go. Applying it is easy enough, although the colours are rich so not a lot is needed to give a good colour coverage. It would be quite easy to apply too much on. The powder is fine and goes on smoothly, my novice blending was a bit haphazard but the quality soon revealed itself when I tried to wipe off a smudge with a damp tissue. It would not come off easy, so seems like it is a long lasting product.

The palette itself does not come with an applicator pad, but is nonetheless a solid and sturdy compact that would slip nicely into a small handbag or clutch. I like the colours in this palette, even if they aren’t the usual ones to pair with my own eye colour, I think they would still work well with the right mix and application. I wear glasses all the time, so have to account for the shadows and reflections they produce. I would use this palette for all occasions, both casual and formal. I think, with a little practice, I'd be more than happy to wear this and other Gosh products in the future. You can Buy this in Superdrug
