Meet The Blogger Behind The Blog - Plutonium Sox

Over the past year i have received loads of support from this blogger but it is always so nice to learn new things about them. Today we welcome Natalie from Plutonium Sox as she tells us about her blog. Please follow her blog and keep up with her latest posts.

What is your blog called?
Plutonium sox

How long have you been blogging?
About three years

What is your blog niche?
Family, Travel, Rural Life

Why do you blog?
Because I very rarely speak to anybody outside of my immediate family and it’s nice to think that somebody is interested in what I’ve got to say. I also love the little treats that we have, such as days out and weeks away that we’d never be able to afford if it wasn’t for blogging.

What made you start blogging?
As a way to promote a business I used to run.

How long did you have your blog before you started to tell people that you had it?
I’m not sure really, I can’t put my finger on when that happened.

What is the funniest Google search people have used to find your blog?
Warning signs cat is plotting to kill me ( )

Who is your most famous Twitter follower?
Oh, I have no idea! Not sure anybody famous follows me!

Buffer or Hootsuite?

What is your best blogging achievement?
I have interviewed some pretty fab people on my blog, most notably Rebecca Adlington and Benedict Allen.

Have you ever had a fail with a blog post like not noticing a typo?
Oh, all the time! Luckily I have some fab friends who are not afraid to message me and tell me what I’ve done so I can put it right!

Have you ever sent the wrong email to a PR, or misread it and sent the wrong reply?
Oh yes. I always end my emails:

The day I ended an email:

Was not my finest hour.

Where can the readers find you?
I’m at

Wheres the weirdest place you have blogged from?
Ooh, good question! Probably sitting outside a tent next to the beach.

Have you ever met any celebrities through your blog?
I did a telephone interview with Rebecca Adlington but unfortunately didn’t meet her in person.

Where do you see your blog in 1 years time?
Hopefully still going strong with a few more readers and followers and a bit more time dedicated to it!

Where do you see your blog in 10 years time?
I think in due course, it will probably just become a record of our lives as working with bloggers ceases to be the done thing and vloggers take over the world!

What is the favourite blog post that you have ever written?
I quite like this one, because it makes me think when I read it back.
