Frosted FairGround Is Returning To Dremaland, Margate

This time next month and it will all be over but the anticipation of the big day is building now in our house. Tilly has been asking me EVERY day since 1st November, if it is Christmas already. We dont start Christmas celebrations until the first weekend in December and this year we will be celebrating it in style with a trip to Dreamland to enjoy their festive fun at the Frosted Fairground.

Next weekend (3rd December) is the opening weekend and it is open all thorough December, at weekends until the kids break up from school and then it is open everyday. This is the second year of the Frosted Fairground and we went last year.

As well as the fairground being open, there will also be other activities around the park that are free to visitors, like THE SECRET STORY TENT where you enter into a magical festive story telling den in The Frosted Fairground and enjoy a special reading of “The Night Before Christmas,” by one of the Fun Fairers. TEDDY & BETTY’S CHRISTMAS SHOW  Teddy and Betty the Dreamland mascots are always popular with the children and Tilly loves to watch them. This year they will be introducing their Christmas Show. Guests can join them in their festive living room at the Garden Stage, and get involved in the show and all the fun and games. THE POP-UP PANTO,
It’s not Christmas without a good ol’ pantomime! The Pop-Up Panto, lead by the Fun Fairers will be in and around the park entertaining guests as they soak up the joyful atmosphere. With more glitter, sparkle and song than ever before, guests will be able to choose classics such as Jack in the Beanstalk, Cinderella and Aladdin and even participate in them. “Oh no they won’t! Oh yes, they will!”FLASH CAROLS That are armed with a portable front door and a full repertoire of classic carols the Fun Fairers will serenade those guests who knock on the door…when will you slam the door?

Father Christmas will also be there in his Grotto, but this year it isnt just an ordinary grotto - This year he is also welcoming pets as well as children to meet him and for £3.50 get a picture that you can treasure forever. Santa Paws is open everyday from 3rd December until Christmas eve and pets are welcome between 12-1pm. From 1pm - 3pm, it is time for your little cherubs to go and visit Santa, THey can tell him what they wish for and have a picture taken for £3.30. If you want a gift as well as the Santa experience it will cost you £9.95. We went last year to see Santa and it is such a fun expereince, something that the kids will remember for a long time. Spaces will be limited so please do book in advance at

When you have exhausted all of the outside fun, there is so much more to do inside with the roller disco, fun for all ages or the Octopuses Garden, where there is so much fun for the under 8's, Tilly loves it in there as there is so much fun and she can have a fun kids meal in there too.
