A Most Very Special Birthday Treat From Tiffany's

I really don't know how to start this post as we spent a very magical day with the wonderful staff at Tiffany's In Westfield on Sunday. A few weeks ago I wrote a post about how wonderful the customer service was in Tiffany's when my child ran in looking like an urchin from a Charles Dickins book, okay she wasn't that bad but you know how we worry as mums and that was how I saw her that day. The staff were so lovely and one of them Sahar spent time showing her around the store. You can read about it here.

We received the most amazing email from Tiffany's and they wrote to her, which to me was lovely because not many people address kids, they go straight to the parents to discuss them. Anyway she was invited to come to experience her very own Breakfast at Tiffany's. I explained it was soon to be her birthday and asked if we could come on her birthday weekend. So that is how we come to be in Tiffany's Westfield Shepherds Bush on Sunday. We got a train and Tilly bought her older sister Kim and a couple of her friends with her, to share this most special day - one that I hope they remember for the rest of their lives. On arriving at the store we were greeted by Sahar again who hugged Tilly and told her that it was lovely to see her again and we were taken to a little room that was decorated with balloons and decorations for her.

We were treated to an afternoon of being spoilt, we were able to try on some jewellery and were treated to drinks and a birthday cake. It was so perfect, Sahar came in with the cake, followed by the store manager Adam, who had an Ipad playing 'Happy Birthday' - They really had thought of everything to make the day so special for her. Then out of the blue, there was a complete surprise for Tilly as they came back with a gift. Tilly and Sahar, excitedly gently tugged at the famous white ribbon surrounding the green Tiffany's box and watched as it came away. they opened the box and there was a beautiful Double heart necklace, it has the iconic Tiffany heart tag and a more modern pink heart. The grin that Tilly had as the necklace was placed around her neck was one of the moments I will cherish forever.

Meeting the staff at Tiffany's Westfield, being treated like princesses and getting to see such beautiful jewellery is a day that even I will cherish forever, I know the girls will. You guys certainly made a little girls birthday a dream. This whole few weeks have reminded me of some scenes in 'Pretty Woman' especially where she is from the wrong side of the tracks and she gets to wear beautiful Jewellery. Somebody like myself would never get the chance to wear a £45,000 piece of jewellery.

We had the most awesome and perfect day and I don't know how we could ever thank you guys for how special you made us feel.
