In this home interior-inspired challenge, school children aged 8-10 years of age are asked to put pen to paper during school time and design and draw their ideal bedroom blind.
And, whether it’s incorporating flowers, animals, dinosaurs, ballerinas or pupils’ own unique patterns, themes and colour schemes, there’s plenty of design inspiration to see on the company’s website which has an excellent range of choice.
Judging will be undertaken by blinds-2go.co.uk’s design team and one overall winner will be chosen, with two runners-up also scooping prizes.
The national winner will see their winning blind re-created by the team at blinds2go.co.uk and handed over to the star pupil. Wow! The school will also scoop £200 as a thank you for putting their pupils forward.
Second place prize will see the student win £30 and the school will receive £100, and third place will see the student win £20 and the school £75.
Mark Bramley, managing director, of blinds-2go.co.uk, said: “It’s important to set positive and fun challenges to enhance young people’s learning and creativity, and this competition aims to test students’ design skills in what we hope will be a fun environment
“We would like children to carefully consider whether their own bespoke pattern will blend in with their current bedroom design or will contrast completely, and have a clear theme
throughout. We’re looking forward to seeing all the different designs flood in and wish all students and schools the best of luck.”
Get going everyone! Deadline for entries is 5th July.
