Win A Family Ticket To Camp Bestival

Who is looking for something different to do this summer? The kids break up at the end of July and its time for some downtime! A break is just what is needed after a summer of SATs, GCSEs and other school pressures. As we break open the wine and shout 'Hallelujah, no more school runs for 6 weeks', we set to thinking about how to keep them occupied for the whole long, long, summer.

Well, I am here to rescue you with a chance to win a ticket to Camp Bestival at Lulworth Castle in Dorset. Camp Bestival is a Child-friendly festival that incorporates kids fun with music, As well as activities for the kids to do, there is also music from the 80's and 90's. Rick Astley is playing, did anyone else used to play 'Never Gonna Give You Up' over and over again as a teen? Also, there are the skills of Jaguar Skills, now I am not a clubby person normally, but the DJ is the best! He played recently at Common People Southampton and Tilly LOVED him and we both thought he was pretty awesome. Camp Bestival runs from July 26th - 29th 2018

Tilly and the awesome Jaguar Skills

So why not do something different with your family this summer and climb aboard the ship of fun as Camp Bestival Sets Sail. Enjoy ocean-sized entertainment at Lulworth Castle, Dorset with music from Simple Minds, Rick Astley, Clean Bandit, Orbital, Basement Jaxx (DJ), Sara Cox presents Just Can’t Get Enough 80, Shed Seven, Tokio Myers, Declan McKenna, Dodie, The Skatalites, Jaguar Skills and many more. Don’t miss out on the family fun from Mr Tumble, Dick and Dom, Mister Maker & the Shapes, Dinosaur World Live, Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures, ZSL London Zoo: Gruesome Nature Live! and many more.

Enjoy delicious food and drink from River Cottage, the Feast Collective, DJ BBQ and his BBQ Zoo, Zoe’s Ghana Kitchen, Rob & Josie’s Gin Festival and lots more and treat yourself to creature comforts with boutique camping from yurts and tipis to gypsy caravans and backstage hospitality, all at a castle campsite by the sea.

You can arrive on Thursday to set your tent up and be ready for the entertainment to start on Friday morning and stay until Monday. This is fab if you have a long way to travel and it extends your weekend away. There are several different camping options to consider too, whilst you visit Camp Bestival and you can find them all here

The tickets are available as weekend tickets, which includes camping on site too or you can buy a day ticket, that doesn't include camping. But I would make a whole weekend of it, kick back and relax in the Gin Festival whilst your kids spend time being free range kids. If you want to win a family weekend ticket worth nearly £600, please enter using the rafflecopter below. You Don't have to enter all of the sections, but the more entries that you have, the more you might win. Good Luck

  1. I think the Camping Plus is the best for us as families with children need easy access to facilities and being able to book a site in advance is better than having to wait and see where you placed

The music line up is great as usual, would love to see Simple Minds live as have been a fan since the 80’s but never had the chance to see them live before, and who wouldn’t want the chance to dance along to Rick Astley even the kids know who he is thanks to the internet sensation of Rick Rolling
