What Can I Buy From Jacamo For my Son? A Review Post

My son is 24 years old and its been a long time since I bought him some clothes, but I was offered some men's clothes and shoes from Jacamo and he was excited to try them out.

Firstly he chose the Scoredraw England 1966 Retro Shirt that is £32 and comes in sizes small to xxxl. The shirt is long sleeved and thick cotton, so its perfect for wearing all year round. It comes in red with is instantly recognised as the winning team kit from 1966 and has the Three Lions badge on the front as well as number 6 on the back, the number belonging to Bobby Moore. The Three Lions badge is an embroidered badge and not a transfer, which means it is going to last longer on the top and it also adds a look of quality to the top. The number six on the back is also a fabric number and it is stitched on. It is made from 100% cotton and is really comfortable to wear. Football has been HUGE this summer as the whole country held their breathe when England played so well in the world cup. It has almost renewed a passion for the England football team and this would make an excellent gift in someone's Christmas parcel this year. It is totally machine washable but not to be tumble dried. Zach is wearing size L 40/43.

The second item was Jacamo Axel Ripstop Khaki Cargo Shorts, these worked well with the Retro shirt, but would equally work well with a shirt for more formal occasions or a t-shirt for leisure. These come in size 36-42 and they cost £17.50 at the moment. They have huge side pockets to put your mobile phone in and your wallet as well as a belt that you can loosen or tighten as needed. Again they are made from cotton and are machine washable. Zach is wearing size 36.

The Lightweight Trainers work well with the whole look of the football shirt and cargo pants too. They are a lightweight black trainer and are a bargain at £15.00 a pair, I know he has paid much more than this in shops for a less stylish pair of trainers. They come in sizes 7 - 13 and are a standard size width. Because they are lightweight, it means they make the perfect summer shoe and are comfortable to wear. They are only available in black but they can be worn with shorts or trousers. Zach is wearing Size 11.

Lastly, he was sent Under Armour Performance Polo Shirt in Navy. I had never heard of this brand before but this has to be my favourite of the whole package. The polo shirt is made of cotton and polyester mix that has a 4-way stretch fabrication allows greater mobility in any direction, making it perfect for wearing whilst you play sports. Zach is a golf player and he wore this top whilst he went to have a round on the course that he works on. The Moisture Transport System combats sweat and moves it away from the body and a UPF of 30+ that protects your skin from the sun's harmful rays. This can be worn with a smart pair of trousers as well as with a pair of shorts for sportswear. It has an anti-snag finish and is really smooth and soft to wear. It will cost you £34.00 and comes in sizes small to xxxxl, so its perfect for men of any size. Zach is wearing xl 46/48

Most of the clothes on the Jacamo website will fit men of different sizes and as a larger sized lady myself, this means a lot to me, because all too often I find that the clothes for my size are boring and bland when you want something fashionable. It means that Jacamo is helping larger men to feel more confident with their bodies because they can wear something that is available to men of all sizes. Jacamo also offers clothes from well-known brands like Ben Sherman, Jack Wolfskin and Burton Menswear as well as branded sportswear like Nike and Reebok. They also sell well known teenage brands, so there is something for all of the family on one website.

Jacamo is a member of the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI), which looks out for the staff members that make the clothes and makes sure that they have fair working conditions, wherever they are in the world. This gives me confidence in a brand that they look after people from the person making the clothes to the person buying them. Wouldn't you be proud to wear an item of clothing that has been sourced ethically?

Delivery is free and you can also have next day delivery for £3.99 but paying £9.99 a year will buy you next day delivery for a whole year. Returns are easy through the post office or MyHermes shop.

All items were gifted for an honest review and we were not disappointed. Fellow blogger Jen from Just Average Jen was also sent tome clothes, pop over to see some great alternatives.
