Mindset And Empowerment Is The Key To Positive Outcomes

Life is hard, it always has been and always will be and we have two choices. We can either let it beat us or we can look at it more positively. Now I am the first person to put my hands up and admit that I'm not always positive about things and sometimes life does beat me down. Rebecca Adams came into my life about 7 years ago and I don't think she really does know how much she has helped us to overcome the problems that we have had over the past few years.

When we were at our lowest, Rebecca's Facebook posts would pop up on my Facebook feed, I know that we often scroll down, but there is something that makes us remember the posts and they are there in our head, for when we need them. I have known Rebecca and seen her be kicked whilst she was down - but you know what? She picks herself up like a lady, she brushes herself off and she gets on with her life with her usual positive attitude. You all need this lady in your life.

Tilly was struggling for a long time after what happened to my family, she was so unhappy and she used to cry a lot. I started to use mindset with her and I saw her starting the day more positively. It was so simple, all I said to her was that she should stand and look at herself in front of a mirror and say to herself 'I am beautiful and I am Clever'. A few simple words, but it can make a difference to her day. Although she doesn't say it so much these days, I know that she uses mindset to get through her days and she also talks to her friends about how to be positive. Knowing that my daughter is positive in her thinking, means that I am winning at parenting too!

I haven't always believed in mindset! When I was ill and seeing a psychiatrist for severe PND, he used mindset, but I wasn't ready to listen. It wasn't until about a year later that I suddenly realised what he was talking about in the sessions. It made sense to me all of a sudden and I used the tips that he gave me. So I might not have been ready at the time to hear it, but he planted the seed into my mind and it grew! So even if someone says something to you and it doesn't make sense, it will do one day.
Rebecca Adams is organising a motivational and mindset event in Bath on 11th-13th April 2019, and I will be there! There will be people coming together to offer advice and give inspirational talks to people. From entrepreneurs to book authors and mindset coaches, there will be someone there to help you get ahead in what you want to do. We all need that little push sometimes (in fact sometimes I need a huge kick!) and Ignite could be the event to help you. It will be set in the beautiful surroundings of Bath pavilion and is set to be two days of positivity and empowerment. Something that we all need at times, will you be there?

Mindset really is the key!
