Slimming World Eggs In Ham - Free Food February

I have written before about how I absolutely hate cooking from scratch and if there is a convenience food answer them I will take that. Being at Slimming World has encouraged me to cook from scratch and it is so much healthier than a dinner in a box. Okay, so I'm still not a great cook but this recipe is so easy that even I could do it without any hassle and it takes about 30 seconds to prepare.

Matilda told me that she was bored with her breakfasts all the time and her cereals were getting too "samey". I remember from being a kid, and I had to eat the same cereal for years and nowadays I hate those cereals. My manager at work is following Slimming World too and suggested this to me. I do not make Tilly follow the slimming world diet but making healthy swaps is really good for her.

So here is the recipe

Ham/other Slimming World friendly sliced meat

We used wafer thin ham and placed it in a Yorkshire pudding type tray overlap the bits of ham so that it covers the bottom of the tray and the egg doesn't seep through.

Crack an egg open and place it in the tray on top of the ham.

It really is as simple as that. It took seconds to do four and then you place it in the oven at 180 degrees for as long as it takes to cook your eggs. I left them for ten minutes to get a hard yolk.
It's such a good breakfast because you can pop it in the oven and still go off and get the kids ready for school. This is a portion of good free food to start the day off with and it's a warm breakfast before school.  They work equally as good with chips for an evening meal and pop some cold ones into your lunch box for work.
