Fuller Figure Swimwear from JD Williams

Recently I took Tilly on a holiday to Turkey for a break from the hustle and bustle of life and to relax by the side of the pool, but my problem was that after losing nearly 4 stone, I had no swimwear that fitted me comfortably. But JD Williams came to the rescue and asked if I wanted any swimwear from them.

I chose Palm print non-wired bikini bra and the matching Palm print high waisted briefs. These are both sold as separates, which I am a huge fan off because I like to mix and match my swimwear and sometimes you can get away with wearing a bikini top for two days but a pair of bikini bottoms, only for one day. So on the second day, you can wear a different pair of briefs but you still have the gorgeous bikini top.

The palm print design is perfect for holidays and you get the real holiday vibe when you wear it. I have huge boobs so I need a good supporting bikini top and this one is soft to wear because it isn't under-wired like my bras often are. The colours are vibrant and there is a little bow on the front of the bikini that is not just decorative. You can tie it a bit tighter and it brings your boobs in closer and offers more support. The cups have foam inside them to add some extra support and hold them up. The straps are adjustable and the clasp at the back is black plastic. This bikini top is available in sizes 12 to 32 and it costs £18. This is a very flattering bikini top when you wear it and it made me feel very pretty. I wore a size 22 bikini top.

The Palm print briefs are high waisted and that's what I need as I am a larger lady, but they are available as a smaller bikini brief. They are rouched on the front panel which makes them flattering to wear and the back of the bikini bottoms are rounded for ladies with a fuller bottom adding comfort to the wearer. These briefs are available from sizes 12 to 32, so the larger lady doesn't need to feel like she can't wear what a smaller lady would wear. They are made of 82% Polyamide, 18% Elastane. and the lining is Polyester. You can mix and match this with the tankini top, blouson top or bikini top in the range. These briefs don't have as much support as I would want as an older, larger lady, but they are comfortable to wear and they come high enough to cover your tummy and not feel like they might fall down. The briefs are a bargain price of £12.00 and I wore size 20.

I also received some Curvy Kate sheer class high waist briefs in black. I love high waisted bikini bottoms because they feel more comfortable to wear and they hold it all in for you. These bikini briefs felt like a cross between hold in knockers and shorts as I wore them, They were so unbelievably comfortable to wear and I spent most of my holiday wearing them, just alternating the tops that I wore with them. Because they are black, you can mix and match with different tops. I rinsed these bikini briefs out most days and the colour never faded in the sun or as I washed them. They have Xtra Life Lycra for long-lasting shape retention and resistance to heat, chlorine and sunscreen. There is a sexy mesh triangle at the front of the brief which adds a bit of sexiness to your briefs and there is a cutout mesh section on the back that is also very sexy. These are more expensive than some of the other bikini briefs but they are worth every single penny! They cost £26 but they are so shapely and flattering to wear. I wore a size 20, but they are available in sizes 10 to 24. They also support Coppafeel.org and recommend you check your boobs regularly.

So what did I think?

I was absolutely thrilled with all of these pieces of swimwear. They were elegant, comfortable and I think excellent value for money. They washed really well in the washing machine as well as by hand whilst we were on holiday. There was no colour run form the colours on the Palm print bikini and the black hasn't faded. I am looking forward to wearing these again throughout the summer.
