Something that we often overlook is our underwear unless we are doing something special. But Underwear is something we wear every day (except weekends and days off …. in fact, any chance we can get!). But wearing ill-fitting underwear, especially bras can be detrimental to your health as well as many other reasons. If you want to feel good and look good, you need to start with what is going on underneath. You don’t need to wear matching knickers and bras, but you do need to wear properly fitted underwear. Find out what type of bra is better for your size. Full cup bras are my go to bras when I buy new underwear.

Do you love shopping for underwear? Looking for new and sexy designs? As a woman who is a UK size 28, I find that there are less places to buy underwear in my size. And when I do find some plus size underwear, it is plain, unattractive and expensive. For a plus-size lady, wearing properly fitted underwear is more important than an average-sized woman. An average woman can wear most knickers, but for a plus-size lady, buy the wrong size and your knickers will fall down or dig into you. Hopefully, these reasons for wearing properly fitted underwear will help you buy your next lot of undies.

Make Sure They Are Comfortable

Well-fitted underwear is much more comfortable to wear throughout the day. It doesn’t dig into your skin or cause irritation, which can lead to discomfort and distraction. A bra that is too tight will dig into you and make you hurt all day. It will show through your clothes and there will be lumps and bumps where they shouldn’t be. As I said earlier, knickers that are the the wrong size, will be too tight or will fall down. You do not want to be pulling your knickers up all day.

Properly fitted underwear gives you the necessary support in the areas that you need it. This support is crucial for maintaining proper posture and preventing strain on muscles and ligaments. If you are getting the support that you need, then you are going to be comfortable. You want your boobies to be right up where they should be, not dangling down by your knees. You also want to support your back by wearing the correct underwear. Having an aching back can be extremely uncomfortable.

Your Health Matters Too With Properly Fitted Underwear

Wearing underwear that is too tight can lead to health issues such as chafing, skin irritation, and even infections. On the other hand, underwear that is too loose may not provide adequate support, which can lead to discomfort and potential health problems, like a bad back.

Knickers that are too tight can cause thrush. Bras that are too tight, can dig into you and cause irritation as well as a rash. The bones in a bra can dig into you if the bra is too tight, and it can also cause infections where your skin cannot breathe. Under your breasts can also end up with a yeast infection, so be careful when you buy your underwear.

Properly Fitted Underwear Will Make You Feel Confident

Wearing properly fitted underwear can boost your confidence. When you’re comfortable and confident in what you’re wearing underneath your clothes, it can positively impact your overall demeanour and self-assurance. When you feel happy and confident with your underwear, you feel invincible. You are ready to take on the world.

Badly fitted underwear can create visible lines or bulges under clothes. This will make you feel unhappy with how you look. Whilst properly fitted underwear creates a smoother silhouette, you will look good and feel amazing. Full cup bras fit the best for larger ladies, they will offer better support.

Properly Fitted Underwear Lasts Longer

Underwear that fits properly is less likely to wear out quickly. When underwear is too tight, it can stretch out or tear. whilst underwear that is too loose may lose its shape over time. Properly fitted underwear tends to last longer, saving you money in the long run.
