I love visiting Turkey, I try to visit a couple of times a year. It’s not all about the sunbathing and alcohol, there is so much more. Turkey has it all starting from breathtaking scenery, historical destinations, rich culture to thrilling adventure and delicious food. There are so many Unique Things to do in Turkey.
The last time I visited this beautiful country I was pretty impressed by the list of things to do here and that is suitable for all ages. So, here are 10 things to do in Turkey on your next trip there!
Cappadocia Ballooning Adventure.
Cappadocia is a historical region in Central Anatolia, largely in the Nevşehir, Kayseri, Kırşehir, Aksaray, Malatya, Sivas and Niğde provinces in Turkey. A Cappadocia Ballooning adventure is one of the most unique things to do in Turkey. It is one of the best ways to soak in the panoramic views of the lush landscapes of Cappadocia in a bird’s eye view. These hot air balloon rides will be 1–2-hour flights depending on the package you choose. How amazing would a trip like this be?
Get ready for a biblical pilgrimage.
There is no other destination than Turkey to go for biblical pilgrimage. The sites will absolutely amaze you; There is Basilica of St. John, House of Virgin Mary, St. Nicholas’ Birthplace, St. Nicholas Church, Seven Churches of the Revelation and much more.

Yeralti Camii is an underground mosque in Istanbul, Turkey. The mosque dates back to the 1750s. Unlike the high roofed mosques all over the world, this is small and is accessible by a tunnel. The dark mosque illuminated by green bulbs gives a different vibe to the visitors
Take a trip to Kekova Island.
Kekova Island is near Demre district of Antalya province. It has a sunken city there called Simena. This Island was inhabited by the Lycians. Sadly, snorkelling is not allowed there. You can organise a boat trip to be amazed at this fairytale looking island with countless ruins.

They are naturally made pools with minerals and therefore, is a great way to de-stress yourself after a long tiring day at Turkey. You will find the Pamukkale Thermal Pools in Denizli Province in southwestern Turkey.
