If you get the chance to travel, then do it. Especially if you decide to travel long-term. More and more people are packing up and taking trips abroad since working from home has become a thing. When you work from home, you literally can work from anywhere as long as you have wifi or an excellent phone signal. But when you travel you need to think about the clothes you are going to pack. You need to pack lightly and you can usually get away with 3 pairs of trousers for your trip. Here we are sharing trousers that are perfect for travel.

When you buy trousers that are perfect for travel, you need to think about having a pair to wear, a pair that is clean and you usually have a dirty pair. This way you only need to rinse clothes out every few days. You need to think about comfort, so elasticated trousers are going to be your best friend. These ladies cotton trousers from Chums are perfect for your needs and they are a great price too.

Cotton Crop Trousers That Are Perfect For Travel

These are great for summery days and they are longer than normal shorts. Which means you can feel more confident wearing them on days out. They are made from 100% cotton and will dry quickly when you have washed them on your travels.

The pockets on the sides of the crop trousers are slanted and are great for popping your purse or even passport in. The elasticated waist means they won’t be so tight as you travel. And they will be easy to get on and off if you decide to stop and sunbathe somewhere nice.

Although these trousers come in 3 colours, navy, sand and khaki. Navy is they will be easier to keep clean on your travels. You can wear these cotton crop trousers with a casual T-shirt or dress them up with a nice top for a night out.

Stretch Stripe Print Chino Trousers

A smart pair of trousers is always a good idea. You can use them for everyday wear as well as nights out in restaurants. These come in white and blue. Although white is quite adventurous for wearing whilst you travel, you could take a pair for wearing on trips out somewhere, or for going out to eat and have a few drinks. White trousers will match with any tops you decide to take, but the navy blue trousers will too.

The Chino trousers are made from 98% cotton and 2% elastane. So they stretch a little to make them more comfortable to wear. This is important in the hot weather when your clothes stick to you! They also come with front pockets to pop your valuables in, then you can hide the pockets with a t-shirt or blouse over the top. There are also belt hoops so you can thread a sneaky belt bag through those to hide your valuables as you travel.

The trousers have an elasticated waist and have a striped pattern down them. They look classy to wear. You can choose your size and your leg length to fit you perfectly and these trousers are a bargain at £10.

Linen Mix Trousers That Are Perfect For Travel

When you are travelling in the summer, linen clothes are great as they keep you cool. Linen is breathable and helps air circulate, so it keeps you cool and fresher in the hot weather.

In the colder weather, they also help to keep you warm. Linen is made from flax, which is used to make home insulation products. So linen is a natural insulator and will keep you warm when you need it. Linen retains heat from your body when you need it.

The Linen mix trousers with elasticated waist, make for comfortable travelling. I love the grey colour of these trousers because they look casual and smart when you wear them with a T-shirt as you travel. But you can equally dress them up with smart shoes and an evening top. They are made from a mix of cotton and linen and will cost you £23 for a pair. They also come in sizes from 10-22 and a choice of inside leg size.

What Other Clothes Would You Take Travelling?

As well as your 3 pairs of trousers for travelling, you need to think about some tops. When choosing the right tops, you need to think about the weight of them as you are carrying them about when you are not wearing them. Pack 3 or 4 t-shirts in your bag, a long-sleeved top in the summer, for the cooler evenings. A long-sleeved top is also needed for visiting some religious places.

Take something nice for nights out, whether it is a dressy top to go with your trousers or a small dress to wear. You will need a pair of shorts or two in the summer and a couple of swimsuits. We find it easier to wear a swimsuit on holiday all the time, so if we find a beach we are ready. I also pack a sarong as it doubles as a wrap for nights out, religious trips and even as a sheet to use on a night train.
