This is an idea that you can start putting together months or weeks before you want to give it as a gift. If you go on holiday with your partner and you have such a lovely time, then bring a memento home. Pop some sand in a glass jar and give it to your partner as a show of affection. Pop a label on the glass jar saying where it is from and add the date. There is also a saying that if you bring a part of a country home with you, you will also return there one day.

If you have been out for dinner and it was a special occasion, save a serviette or the receipt. Pop it into a picture frame with a small label saying the date and occasion. This also works with a dried flower or a dried leaf from a picnic or walk somewhere special. Keepsakes like this always make great and awesome valentine’s gifts for your loved one.

Freeze Gifts That Will Melt Inside A Drink

This is the perfect idea for someone who wants to give their partner a smallish gift. Pop the gifts inside an ice cube tray and then leave it to freeze in the freezer. You can also do this for no cost at all if you have a Cricut machine. You can easily cut out some rose petals on red paper.

If you are away and you want to let someone know that you love them, you can always send a postcard home. On the back, just write I Love You From Istanbul or wherever you are visiting. If you are travelling, then send a postcard from every destination that you visit.
