Why You Would Choose Vegan Cheese Instead Of Dairy Cheese
These days vegan foods are so much more available to everyone. A few years ago, the selection was far and few between. Now if you want to buy some food, you will always find a vegan version of it too. The same goes for cheese. But Violife vegan cheese is not just for vegans, it can help people with so many different dietary requirements too.
For so long, people living with milk allergies also had to avoid cheese. Now they do not need to, because Vegan cheese is free from dairy and lactose. Lactic acid & Glucono delta lactone are both acidity regulators used from vegan sources.

What Kim Thought Of Violife Products
As a vegetarian, I do eat a lot of dairy cheese and when I tasted this cheese, I couldn’t tell it was any different. I first tried the smoky cheddar flavour slices which I put in a veggie burger. I enjoyed the taste of these as they were very smoky. My only disappointment is that this did not melt as well as dairy cheese does.
I tried the original flavour slices which I put in a panini. I liked that I could reseal the packet after use. The original flavour slices did melt a little more than the smoky cheddar but still not as much as dairy cheese. However, it still tasted nice and cheesy, and I enjoyed it.
Next, I tried the original flavour of grated cheese. I was excited about this one as I made myself a macaroni cheese, and I personally like very cheesy macaroni cheese. As I cooked my pasta, I added a cheese sauce. I mixed in plenty of grated cheese. Again, it was very cheesy, and I really enjoyed it. It melted better than the previous vegan cheeses.
Lastly, I tried the camembert flavour le Rond. I was also very excited to try this and brought some nice bruschetta to dip in. When I opened it, I was surprised at how cheesy it smelt. I popped it in the microwave for a minute and a half and it started to melt. I was then able to dunk my bruschetta into the vegan cheese. It tasted very much like real camembert, and I really enjoyed it. But, I would say it does not melt the same way as dairy cheese and it’s not as easy to dunk things in.
Overall, I did like this vegan cheese. It tasted very cheese and had I not known I probably wouldn’t have guessed it was dairy free. I would eat it again.
