Laughing releases tension, so crack jokes, watch a comedy or read the funnies section of your newspaper. Find your sense of humour again and share it with friends and family. This will help them to cope with stress too.
Learn To Say No To People
If you are a “people pleaser,” don’t sacrifice your own happiness for that of others. If you have somebody who is constantly using you. Whether it be for money, babysitting, or lifts in the car and they are not returning the favour, don’t let them become a stress-inducing burden. Just say no, and get your priorities in order. If you have people who rely on you all of the time and are never there when you need it, just let them go.

Choose Happiness Over Stress
At the end of the day, you get to decide if you are a happy person or a sad person. Don’t alienate everyone around you by constantly being grumpy. If you make a conscious effort to be happy and positive, eventually it will come naturally. A positive mindset works all of the time. If you wake up and say that it’s going to be a good day.
