What Is The Selfie Kit?
Have you got a teenager who loves taking selfies? Then the Selfie Kit from Cotton Bag Co is for you. The bag has everything your teenager might need to create the perfect selfie. It is a tote bag that comes with a selfie stick, a clip-on camera and a pop-up reflector. There is also a smaller bag/purse inside the tote, that you can place your pop-up reflector into when you’re not using it.
The selfie kit is easy to use and because everything is in a zipped bag, you can hang it up and just grab it when you are heading out somewhere for the day. There is a side pocket that you can pop your selfie stick in there. And there is a slightly larger side pocket that you can use for your purse and valuables. It also says that you receive a selfie booklet when you buy the selfie kit. But unfortunately, this was missing from our kit.
What Comes In The Selfie Kit
The Selfie Kit comes with things that you need to get the best quality selfie photos. Firstly, when you take a selfie, use the camera to take a photo from the back camera. Using the front camera, you get a worse-quality photo. Also, set your timer to 3 or 5 seconds. That gives you time to get ready and in the best pose for your photo.
The Selfie Stick
The selfie stick uses Bluetooth to connect to your phone, but what is even better is that there is a remote control attached to the stick. So if you want to you can use that instead of clicking the button on the stick. The phone was securely kept in place with the clamps, and there was no worry about the phone falling from the selfie stick. The selfie stick comes with instructions to help you get started. It is compact and perfect for days out.
The LCD Camera Light
The light clips onto the camera and you switch it on. It gives you a little extra light when you might need it. The light pops onto your phone, but you need to make sure you don’t cover the camera. You can switch the light on to one of the three settings, depending on how much extra light you need. Unfortunately, the spring on the light did break after the second use. But after reaching out to the company, we received a replacement within days.
The Pop Up Reflector
A reflector helps to give you more light on the photograph subject. So if it is slightly dark where you are taking a photo, you can use the silver side of the reflector to bounce light onto the subject. You will need to hold it in different directions for different situations. If you are not sure whether it makes a difference or not. Take one picture with the reflector and one without. Use the one you like the best. Simply fold the reflector when you are finished with it and pop it into your selfie bag.
