Who doesn’t love a giveaway? And with Christmas coming fast, here is your chance to win a Christmas gift for someone in your family. Firstly, here is the Polar Panic game review, so you can check out how to play the game when your kid opens it on Christmas day. The Polar Panic game was gifted to us by Wicked Uncle and they also provided the prize.
The game is for kids over 6 years old and 2 to 6 players can play the game. Although the age is 6, I feel confident that my grandaughter aged four and a half would know how to play the game.

What is a Polar Panic Game?
Polar Panic is a game made by Cheatwell. You and your kids get given a pile of cards each to play with. The person who has been ice skating more recently starts the game. They turn a card over and place it on the table. Then the person next to them clockwise puts a card down. All players quickly look to see if a matching fish is on the cards. If there is, the players must react quickly and put their hands on the cards. Those cards then belong to the person who spotted the match and put their hands down.
The game carries on until all of the cards are used up and the winner is the person with the most collected cards left at the end of the game.

Different Scenarios with Polar Panic
If more than one person puts their hand on a winning card, then they both win the card. If there is more than 2 cards with the matching fish, then you could win 3 cards. Or three people could each win a card. Sometimes cards do get missed on the table, so it is worth keeping an eye on them.
You could put your hands on two cards that you think match, when in fact they are different. If this happens, you need to take 2 cards from your winning card pile and place them back on the table to put them back in play again.
There are 5 Eskimo cards in the tin. If a player turns one of those over, they keep the card and put it on their winning pile. Then all of the cards that are in the game are flipped over, so the ice hole is on show. The game resumes with all of the players.
There is one polar bear card. As soon as the Polar Bear card is turned, the game finishes. The person with the most collected cards wins. If there is a tie, then the person with the most Eskimo cards and the most cards wins.

Where To Buy The Game
You can buy the game for the bargain price of £7.95 from Wicked Uncle. It is a great price for a pocket money toy or a Christmas stocking gift.
