Shopping at the moment is difficult because you cannot use testers in the stores. If you are shopping for your usual shades, that that makes it 100 times easier. But if you are looking for a different shade, here are some tips to help you.

• Make use of the QR code on the makeup stands, they should help you to match your cosmetic shade. Although sometimes they don’t actually work because so many people are using them.
• The lighting in a store is artificial, so take the cosmetics that you like over to a window and use natural lighting to see the colour.
• Don’t open the makeup on the stands. This means that the store cannot sell it and it goes down as a stock loss. Stores have lost enough money through covid, they can’t afford to lose more.
