Summer is here, school is out, and it’s time to relax on the beach with friends. Or summer evenings with friends and a bottle of wine in the garden. Is this your kind of thing too? Then you are reading the right blog review because we have an awesome hamper to share with you today. We received The Perfect Party Treat Gift Hamper from Gift Hampers UK to review. So I got together with some friends and cracked open the bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon Kintu Chile, whilst we breathed a sigh of relief that another school year is over.

The Perfect Party Treat Gift Hamper From Gift Hampers UK
I chose this hamper because it comes in a willow basket that I can keep when the hamper is finished. I also wanted to see whether I would send this as a gift to someone. The hamper is filled with some lovely goodies that you will also enjoy with your friends and family. The hamper comes with the following things, but products can vary, especially if it is out of stock.

- Brown Bag Crisps Lightly Salted Crisps 150g â„®
- Crunch & Crumble Chocolate Orange Biscuits 150g
- Grandma Wild’s Mature Cheddar Mini Bites 100g â„®
- Joe & Seph’s Sweet & Salty Gourmet Popcorn 60g â„®
- Cabernet Sauvignon Kintu Chile 75cl 12.5% vol
- Maxwell & Franks Decorated Chocolate Cake 125g
- Mr Filbert’s Salted Caramel Mix 75g â„®
- Shaws Caramelised Red Onion Chutney with Balsamic 195g â„®
- Stas Decorated Milk Chocolate Bar 100g
- The Dormen Salted Cashews 40g â„®
When it was delivered, it came in the basket that was filled with packing chips. This helped to keep everything safe from damage. And it also made it more of a surprise when I was rummaging around looking for the snacks. The bottle of wine was bubble-wrapped, and so was the jar of chutney. There was paper and cardboard to protect the top of the basket. It was all then packed in a sturdy cardboard box.
Where Can We Buy The Gift Hampers From?
The best bit about the Gift Hampers UK website is that they international. They deliver to 27 different countries. So if you want to send one to your uncle in Lithuania, then it is so easy to do. You simply click the link for the country you want to send it to. Of course, ours came from the UK and it was £69. This was a really good price, and such good value compared with other hamper companies that I have seen online.
Every gift hamper on the website comes with free delivery, so there are no added costs at checkout. The hampers also come with next-day delivery where possible. You can choose hampers by category, occasion or cost.
We would buy this hamper again as a gift for someone. My friends who I enjoyed this with have also said they would buy it as a gift. It is such a pretty gift to give someone, and excellent value.
What We Thought Of The Hamper

I loved how well the hamper was packed. It was put together with some really good quality snacks and wine. The Cabernet Sauvignon Kintu Chile was a very smooth drink as we sipped it. It had a screw top lid, perfect for drinking on a picnic. And it was a good quality bottle of wine. As the hamper came with some oat biscuits and chutney, we decided to add cheese to it as well. The oat biscuits were of a really good quality. They were cheddar and chilli flavour, but the chilli wasn’t too noticeable.

We also got some popcorn in the hamper, the Joe & Sephs Gourmet popcorn is a bag of sweet and salty popcorn. It is covered in caramel coating, my favourite type of popcorn, and it added a little sweetness to the popcorn. We also got a bag of Brown Bag Lightly salted crisps, because I think wine is always better with a bag of crisps. I think I would have preferred a flavoured bag of crisps, but I can see why lightly salted was in the hamper – you cannot please everyone’s palate!

The food item in the hamper that I was most surprised about was the Mr Filberts Cafe Espresso snacks. I am not a coffee drinker, but I love the coffee smell. And when I opened these I was pleasantly surprised that there wasn’t an overpowering smell of coffee. The coffee, nuts, chocolate and caramel mix went together so well. Even the real coffee beans in the snack were tasty and complemented the nuts and other flavours. There was also a bag of salted nuts in the hamper to share.

Sweet Goodies In The Hamper
Of course, we all love a sweet treat during a picnic. In this hamper, we received a bar of decorated chocolate and a bag of cookie and fudge clusters. These were cute little chocolates and a little bit of a luxury for me. They are made with Belgian chocolate, which is the best chocolate in the world. The chocolate was smooth and melted in my mouth, and the fudge taste went well with the chocolate.

The hamper also came with a bar of chocolate, which was decorated with cranberries, nuts and seeds. The flavours and textures all worked well together. The chocolate bar was like something you would get from Thorntons or Hotel Chocolat. It looks as good a quality as it tasted.

All Butter Shortbread Biscuits
I am half Scottish, so I love shortbread. But I wasn’t ready to experience these biscuits. They were lovely and melted in my mouth. It is a good idea to have a few different kinds of foods in the hamper, but these were one of my favourite things in there.
