Brownies are a great dessert to enjoy, whether at parties or as an afterschool or work treat. These easy peanut butter brownies are quick to make as we are cheating and using a brownie mixture, prepared in a box. You just need to add the wet ingredients to it. You can make easy peanut butter brownies from scratch if you have a recipe. If you don’t have a recipe and still want to make them from scratch, you can find a recipe here.
What You Need For Easy Peanut Butter Brownies

- 1 Box brownie mix (any brand), if you can get a peanut butter flavour one that would be great.
- 2-4 tbsp peanut butter. There might be a pouch included with your cake box.
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp water
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 8×8 inch square tin
Mix the cake mix with water, egg and oil (or as the instructions on the mix tell you to).

You can mix it by hand or with an electric mixer or whisk and blend the mixture until it is smooth.

Place greaseproof paper in your square tin or make sure you grease it thoroughly. Pour the mixture into the tin evenly. Drizzle peanut butter over the mixture, you can add as little or as much you like to all flavour. I sometimes prefer to add 2 extra spoonfuls to make brownies creamier.

Preheat oven to 320F/160c and bake for 15-18 minutes or until you put a skewer in the brownie and it comes out clean. You will need less time if you have a fan oven. Leave the freshly baked peanut butter brownies to cool down on a cooling rack then cut into little squares to enjoy.

You can decorate your brownies if you like. You can also use different ingredients if you don’t want peanut butter brownies. How about experimenting with other flavours? You can add some coconut instead of peanut butter. You can also make Blondies instead of brownies. Brownies can be eaten warm or cooled down.
