Last Updated on: 10th November 2025, 11:26 am

Are you the type of parent who worries about your kids walking home from school in the winter? Whether they are with you or not, it can be a worry walking around in the dark. Even with reflective strips on their coats and school bags. We were sent an awesome TWISTII rotating wrist light to review and give to one lucky winner. You can purchase it from the Wicked Uncle website for £16.99. Although the website suggests an age range of 6 to 18 years old, it is suitable for anyone over 6 years old.

What Is The TWISTII Rotating Wrist Light

The Twistii is an awesome twist on the normal torch that we normally use. Except it is much cooler with the way it works. The Twistii has 3 modes, including a forward directional beam and a warning flash. And as the torch can rotate 360 degrees, it means you can direct the light in the direction you need. This makes it perfect for secretly reading under the covers, when they should be sleeping, or for getting out of bed during the night to use the toilet. The torch comes with a USB cable, providing you or your child with 180 minutes of light. This is so much better than a normal torch.

How Does It Work?

The torch is attached to a snap band, so you or your child can wear it as a watch. But it is easy to remove in an emergency. There is a button at the top of the TWISTII; you can press it to get started. Press once for a red and white torch. Press it twice for a single white torch. Finally, press it a third time for a flashing red and white torch, which will grab the attention of anyone passing by. By pressing it again, the torch switches off. You can rotate the torch to the desired position.

To charge the TWISTII, connect it to a power source using the included USB cable. You can charge it on the go by plugging it into a power bank. Once it is charged, the torch has 3 hours of power.

It’s Not Just For Kids

Because the torch is on a snap band, it makes it easy to use in various situations. Even adults can use it when they need a bit of extra light in any situation. Because it easily snaps onto your wrist, it leaves your hands free for working in dark, tight situations. And you get to feel like a kid for a while, too. What’s not to like about that?
