Ghost sandwiches

These are best to be made with fillings that are totally white because it gives a better effect and kids love it more. For some ghost sandwiches, you need white bread, swiss cheese, turkey or chicken meat, white chocolate etc. Make the sandwich and then use a ghost cookie cutter to cut the sandwich shape out. You can cut the sandwich with a knife if you are clever enough. Use some raisins on the top of the sandwich for eyes or a blob of ketchup.

Pumpkin Wraps

Take a wrap and spread it with your favourite orange ingredients – pimento or red Leicester cheese, slices of gammon or some salmon, orange peppers, etc. all work well. Roll the wrap tightly and then cut it into half-inch slices.

You may need to use a toothpick to hold the wrap slices together, consider getting the decorative ones in green to be the “stem”. Or try to add some lettuce as a stem too. Lay the slices on their sides and using small pieces of veggies or cheese to create the eyes, nose and mouth on your pumpkin.

You can make this dessert in one large pan or individual cups, depending on the size of decorative tombstones you can find.

Start by crushing an entire package of chocolate sandwich cookies (like Oreos or bourbons) and layering a portion of them in the bottom of the cup/pan. Then take a packet of chocolate Angel Delight and follow the instructions to make it up. Leave it to sit for a little while until it is more solid. Layer some Angel Delight in a bowl. Then sprinkle some of the crushed Oreos or bourbons. Another layer of Angel Delight and another layer of Oreos or bourbons. Layer it as many times as you want. Then put it aside to finish setting.
