Easy Kids Crafts To Make

Easter is coming up and that brings Easter holidays from school. So here are some great, easy 5 minute easy kids crafts for Easter to do with them. You need a few things, but you normally have them around the house in a craft box. They are not too messy and the kids will have a ball making them.

Lollipop Chicks

These are cute and easy for even the smallest kids to make. Obviously, you need to supervise the kids, especially with the glue.

What You Need

Lollipop sticks
Glue
Yellow Paper, cut into wing shapes
Pink Paper, cut into feet and a beak. You can use any colour that suits you.
Pompoms for eyes
Yellow paint or pens (optional if you have natural-looking sticks)

Paint the sticks or colour them with a yellow pen. Then take another stick and place it across the back of the sticks. Secure it with the glue and leave it to dry.

Then turn the lolly sticks over and glue the yellow paper over the stick that is holding them all together, This hides the stick on the back.

Stick the feet, beak and pompoms on the chick. Then there it is done, a simple craft they can give as a gift or decorate the house this Easter.

Easy Kids Crafts Easter Basket

What You Need

Lolly sticks, natural-looking ones are the best but you can use any colour.
Ribbon or something to make a handle from
Patterned paper, cut out in the shape of Easter eggs
Sequins and other craft bits to decorate the basket with.

Get everything that you need ready on the side, then you can just grab it and make the craft.

Line the sticks up together. It doesn’t matter how many you use because it can be the size that you want. Then put glue in a straight line near the ends of the lolly sticks. Put the ribbon that you have chosen on the glue. This will be the back of your basket.

Turn the egg shapes upside down and glue the bottom of them to the lolly sticks. So the egg shapes show over the top of the basket. Tilly put three eggs in her basket, but you can do as many as you like.

When the ribbon and the eggs are dry, turn the basket over. The ribbon is holding the sticks together and you can decorate the front of the basket as you wish. Tilly used Easter confetti to decorate hers but you can use anything.

This can be hung somewhere as an easter decoration or given to someone as a gift from your child.
