As a family, we love to play games on board game nights. And every year as a tradition, I always buy a board game to play on Christmas Day. The reason we do this is to stop for a moment on Christmas day and appreciate simple moments as a family. So Why not get your family a game for Christmas? How Do You Play A Family Quiz Night?

Lay the board in the middle of the table and put your playing pieces on the start marker. The youngest player starts by rolling the dice and moving to the square that they land on. They are asked a question from the appropriate category that they landed on. There are 8 categories and they are TV, Movies, Geography, History, Music, People, Science and Nature and pot Luck. Each card has 2 types of questions, there are adult and kids questions. Make sure you ask the right question! The questions are multiple-choice, to make it easier for everyone.

If the player gets the question right, they roll the dice again and move on. Then they get asked another question. They carry on like this until they get a question wrong. Then the player on the left gets to roll the dice and answer the questions. The winner is the first person who reaches the finish square.

The Questions In The Game

There are two types of questions on the game cards. The light blue questions are for the kids. The darker blue questions are for the adults. The kid’s questions have multiple-choice answers so even if they don’t know the answer, they can guess and still have a chance to get it right. The adult questions do not have multiple-choice answers, making it harder.

If the question is wrongly answered, the card goes to the bottom of the pile and waits to be used again, If you get the answer right, you can keep the card. If you are playing with teens or older kids, you can ask the kids questions without the multiple-choice option.

Who Is The Family Quiz Night Game For?

The game is aimed at people aged 8 and older, but younger players might need to have a little help. The Family Quiz Night game is for 2 – 6 players. But if there are more people, you could double up and become teams of 2 people. There is a wide range of questions, so there should be something that everyone knows facts about.
